Contoured Cheeks & Lonely Weeks

Greetings everyone! I'm delighted to say that as of today I have finally learned how to properly contour my cheeks. I found the color I used in a Wet n' Wild eyeshadow palette that I mentioned in one of my old YouTube videos. It's called "Petal Pusher" and the color I used was mix between gray, brown and plum.It didn't have a specific name. I used my ELF bronzer brush to sweep the color onto the hollows of my cheeks, and then lightly dusted over it with a powder foundation. I have to say, I'm really enjoying how it looks on me. I'll post pictures on my instagram sometime later- it's late now and I'm bit of a mess. Anyway, the main point of this blog post is starting to get lost. Lately I've been really missing having gothy company around. I live in the suburbs near the ever-so-full-of-goths city of Seattle. Getting myself over the bridge for a gothy good time always seems to be struggle, however. That's why I'm especially looking forward to some the "gothicly inclined" events that are coming up in June. An event always seems to be the perfect excuse to journey over the magic floating bridge into the wonderful city. There are quite a few that are coming up in the next month that I'm looking forward to. Talking to like-minded people is one of my favorite things, an if weren't for the internet I'd probably be going crazy right now. But chatting with goths over Facebook and listening to The Smiths always seems to calm my nerves.

Welcome To My Blog!

Hello everyone,
After a long period of contemplation I've finally decided to create a blog. This is  just going to be a regular blog...sort of. This blog is going to mainly going to cater to those who live on the spooky of side life. As a member of the goth subculture, most (but not all) of my interested fall into the gothy/spooky category. I will be posting about fashion, makeup, trends, movies, events, and just about anything I feel like. However, I don't necessarily want my blog to fall into that generic "alternative" category. I'll be covering topics that I think other goth bloggers have overlooked; subjects that I think  should be brought to the attention of the subculture, or just things that need a bit more clarification. What I would really like for this blog to turn into would be a goth/alternative advice blog, but until I get enough followers it'll just be about things I like.  Thank you for reading my very first blog post, and I hope that you will enjoy my other posts in future.  :)
